for someone who has never owned a T before what would be best to start off with.... I forgot to ask this in my previous post.. thanks in advance. any information would be greatly appreciated along with anything else u would like to throw in.

slings are pretty difficult to care for.

I always recommend juvies or adults to beginners.

James you asked a question that I was also looking for. Here is another one. At what size is a T considered a juvi? As a newbie I'm afraid to get one too young that it might die. I am looking at the B Smithi and have seen some for 1 to 1.5 inches.

Kinda depends on the species, but around 2-3 inches I would call most all Ts juvies. Some people go a little earlier, maybe 1.5 -2 inches.

Of course, right around 2 inches is when the price starts going up on Ts because the breeder has had to raise them for quite a while.

genneral as the T starts showing adult patterns and coloring it is considered a juvi. If it still looks like every other sling it is a sling.
Brachi's are pretty hardy even as slings. 1.5 to 2" is really well started.
