hello all we are newbies to this site and to T's we have had our G Rosea about four weeks and she gave us a nice supprise about 3 4 days ago an egg sack so we are about to own more than one t. But she is a wonderful and amazing creature so im sure will have loads of fun with her and all her babies just hope all goes well all seems very scarey.Robc has given us some great advice now know how to make the incubator and when to take the sack out still not sur if we have to open it tho or do they do this there self????

Nope, you have to open it.

Jump onto Robc's youtube channel and check out all his videos on egg sacs. In every one, he had to cut the sac open and dump out the eggs.

they can, they'll just be emerging as either eggs with legs or first instars. this means you're going to have higher instances of cannabalism while they're still in the sack, and that's why robc, and other breeders cut open the sacks and spread them out in an incubator.

it's honestly up to you. if you want to do it the most natural way, let them work their way out. you'll have less of them, but it's lower maintenance. if you want the highest possible number of babies, open it up and gently dump them out in the incubator before they emerge as eggs with legs/as they do so.

like jb said, rob has lots of videos. i'm not trying to undermine what jb said here, but she isn't breeding them intentionally, so highest possible success rate probably isn't her primary concern (unless of course it is!!).

Hi all just to let you know we pulled the sac and have 247 eggs you can see there little legs just forming inside sooooo eggcited mum is doing fine eating and back to her old self comes to say hi when i open her tank really really pleased a big thanks to everyone for the advice and a big thanks to Robc because without his advice i would have had a break down from the stress will keep updateing

i cant figure out how to make the pics small im really more into my animals than the tecky stuff could someone please explain in laymans terms how too make the pics small thanks in advance its say max size allowed is 256 kbs no idea what size mine is

Try hosting your pictures on a site like photobucket. I'm not sure, but I think they make the images small enough for internet use (Sharing, linking, emailing, ect.) It's very simple, you just make an account using your email address, verify your email, and then simply upload.

many thanks to everyone great to be here we are loving our newest editions to be honest i didnt think i would never been a lover of spiders but fang is wonderful and amazing to sit and watch and they eggs are changing all the time thats an amazing thing to watch i must check them about 20 times a day im sure all my other babies know somthing is going on especially the iggie the eggs are on top of his viv so his not allowed to climb up there anymore lol

hi robc i was the 1 that emailed you on your you tube channel seen all your vids amazing you sent me here also the babys are doing great if i look real close you can see little spiders inside legs bodys everything has the kids mezmorized and me will get my partner to up load pic for me it tell me it has reached board quota ?????

I think the hosting site has probably reached it's limit. My advice would be to host all your pics on another pic hosting site. (photobucket, for instance)
