Container store sling enclosures

Postby varanidfan on Sun Mar 15, 2009 9:23 pm

I took a trip down to the local Container store to make some new juvie and sling enclosures. After spending about $50 I was ready with a hole saw and a hot glue gun. This is what came of it. I love the container store, because they carry clear plastic containers which is very important to me. I cant stand opaque plastics. On a side note, take your time when drilling or cutting holes in hard acrylic plastics, it cracks very easily. I usually use a variable speed drill. Start slow and let the weight of the drill do the work, the more you push it, the more it will crack.

These have a pretty snug fit, I am still thinking of putting some kind of hasp or latch on them just in case it fell over etc etc

I don't have a container store here. I was wondering if you knew what they called those smallest ones (bottom right in your first pic)?? I can't find them on their website. :?

They are called hobby cubes. You can also find them at Michaels craft stores and some AC moore craft stores.

We use the bigger ones the womens shoe boxes and boot boxes for a lot of our terrestrial Ts. They stack neatly and save tons of space. Plus they are easy to drill holes in or even put in screen.
