I saw this on one of the supplier's list at work (on their site)


they call it a river rust rump tarantula

holy god poo that is a cool looking T, never ever seen one like that. I wanna know what is is too, and want one hehe :D

Edit: I just googled it, says its a Aphonopelma species.

i might call them on friday and ask them
but they might just say Aphonopelma sp.

It might not have a proper name yet...
I went to a few sites and some had it labeled

Aphonpelma sp. "New River"
1 P. metallica

Aphonpelma sp. New River is the proper name. Just like Aphonpelma sp. Flagstaff Orange.
